What exactly is a FinSight CFO Report?
Every month, you receive a professionally formatted 6-page PDF that turns your raw QuickBooks data into plain-English financial intelligence. Page 1 is an executive summary in plain English. Pages 2–3 cover your P&L and cash flow with AI-written commentary. Page 4 is a KPI dashboard. Page 5 flags anomalies. Page 6 gives you 3 specific, actionable recommendations from your CPA.
How is this different from just looking at QuickBooks myself?
QuickBooks gives you data. FinSight gives you insight. We tell you what the numbers mean, what changed since last month, why it matters, and exactly what you should do about it — in plain English, not accounting jargon.
Is this automated or does a real person review it?
Both. Claude AI generates the analysis from your QuickBooks data. Nicholas Fotinos (CPA, Fotinos Financial) reviews every single report before it's delivered. You get the speed of AI and the quality control of an experienced accountant.
When do I get my report each month?
Every report is delivered by the 3rd of the month, covering the prior month's data. So your April report arrives by May 3rd.
QuickBooks & Data
What access do you need to my QuickBooks?
Read-only accountant access. You invite us through QuickBooks as an accountant user. We can view your data but cannot move money, create transactions, or change settings. We never see your passwords.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely. We use read-only access only, your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, we sign an NDA on request, and we never sell or share your data. Your information is used solely to generate your monthly report.
What QuickBooks plan do I need?
Any QuickBooks Online plan works — Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, or Advanced. FinSight is not compatible with QuickBooks Desktop at this time.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a contract or commitment?
No contracts. You pay month-to-month and can cancel anytime. If you cancel before the 1st, you won't be charged for the following month.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Do you offer a free trial?
We offer something better — a free sample report. We'll generate a real CFO Report on a sample QuickBooks dataset so you can see exactly what you're getting before you pay a cent.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Your first month's subscription covers everything including onboarding and setup.
Getting Started
How quickly can I get started?
Same day. Sign up, grant QuickBooks access, and we'll have your first report ready within 24–48 hours of receiving access. After that, reports arrive automatically on the 3rd of each month.
What if I'm not satisfied?
If you're not satisfied with your first report, tell us and we'll make it right — or refund you, no questions asked.
